Sugary drinks not only provide the bees with water but also with sugar, which they use for food. To limit the number of bees near your home make sure to rinse off any spill with a hose right after the incident.

Believe it or not bees are very territorial. Because of this unique mannerism you can easily fool them into thinking that there are already other colonies in the area. By taking brown paper bags, crumpling them, and hanging them around your home you trick the bees into thinking that other bees have already surround your home. This will deter them from creating a home near yours and lessen the chances of bees invading your home environment.

Pest control companies have the pesticide and tools necessary to deter bees from entering the area around your home. First, they will examine the exterior of your home and your property to see if there are any hives that would need to be removed.
