Well, now we’re adding a new word to the equation: commodity fumigation. What the heck does that mean? And when is it needed?

That might sound like coded language, but it’s the most accurate way to describe this. A commodity is a good: like a shipment of grain, a shipping container full of vegetables, a bulk order of pallets or a truck filled with furniture. Anything that’s valuable to you and comes in a significantly-sized shipment.

With commodity fumigation, the aim is to destroy pests without harming the products. Therefore, if there are food products that need to be protected, we’ll use the appropriate chemicals for that.
